Jura thermoblock temperature sensors measure the temperature of the heating element. When the thermoblock reaches the required temperature to complete the desired function, the sensor relays the message to the PCB to continue with the function. If the thermoblock fails to reach the required temperature, exceeds the required temperature or the temperature sensor fails to properly transmit the temperature reading, an error code (usually 1-4) will appear.
