Possible Faulty Parts:
Fix:
The Brew Group Encoder cannot be activated. The Encoder (sits on the Gear Motor) is defective. The Power Board informs the Encoder the brew process has begun, which in turn, dictates the positioning of the Brew Group, via the Gear Motor.
Visually inspect the Encoder and wires to Encoder for damage/corrosion. Replace Encoder.
The Ceramic Valve cannot obtain the proper position. You may hear the motor continuously turning. The motor of the Ceramic Valve may be damaged/corroded from an internal leak, or it is filled with scale and cannot properly switch the fluid path.
